Mission
Heat Network Scotland champions the development of heat networks across Scotland to enable the transition to a low-carbon, affordable, and resilient energy system.
Aims
A Home: Build and support a strong and collaborative heat network community. Facilitate collaboration, share knowledge, and promote best practice. Act as a trusted place for heat network discussions and debates.
A Stronger Voice: To be an independent and trusted voice that represents and advocates for the sector to policymakers and the public.
A Will: to change the existing narrative of heat being too difficult to decarbonise and campaigning to change it.
How
We are establishing a membership-based organisation that brings together industry, academia, communities, housing providers, and government. Our robust legal structure, diverse membership, and sustainable funding model ensure we act as a trusted, independent, and strong voice for the sector.
